Hi Everyone, In case my purple martin email caused confusion, here's what happened:I saw the bird at El Dorado Park around 12:30 pm on Sunday, tried to post a note to the listserve using my phone, but then got a message saying that the email couldn't go through. Evidently it finally did go through rougly 1 1/2 days after I tried to send it, so my apologies for the mixup. The bird was flying over the pond at the southwest part of the park (i.e., south of Willow) among a flock of barn swallows, cliff swallows, and a couple of northern rough-winged swallows.
