Yesterday 1230 pm the mud was almost completely gone and the cattle had returned. In the general area were these birds:

800 cowbirds in various stages of molt
80 starlings
8 house sparrows
One eastern meadowlark
Six barn swallows
Four turkey vultures
Two collared doves
Ten pigeons
Four killdeer
Eight mourning doves
Seven Mississippi kites
Two great egrets
Fifty cattle egrets
Ten snowy egrets
One crow species

What a difference a day makes!
