Subject: [Ohio-birds] Chagrin River Bird Quest in NE Ohio
It's time to register for the 11th Annual Chagrin River Bird Quest, the family-friendly 24-hour birding challenge that gets people out into nature while using eBird to get a 'snapshot' of the birds in the Chagrin River Corridor IBA. It's FREE but teams need to register at Chagrin River Bird Quest 2025 – Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland<https://clevelandaudubon.org/chagrin-river-bird-quest-2025/>. Open to new and experienced birders alike!

New(er) birders can attend an 'Introduction to Birding' workshop on Saturday August 23rd from 9am - 11:30am. Separate registration is requested on the website.

Sponsored by Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland in conjunction with Blackbrook Audubon and Geauga Park District, teams of two or more people record all the birds they can positively identify visually or by song/call within the boundaries of the Chagrin River Corridor IBA from Friday Sept. 5 at 4pm until Saturday Sept. 6 at 4pm. Registration materials and FREE T-SHIRTS will be available in the Lodge at The Rookery, 10110 Cedar Road, Chesterland, from 3:30pm - 6pm Friday Sept. 5th. Everyone is invited to come back to The Rookery Lodge at 4pm Saturday to turn in their checklists, enjoy some pizza and refreshments while awards and door prizes are presented. Details on the website.

This year's raffle item is a hand-carved California Quail from John Lillich, an award-winning wood carver from NE Ohio.
