Subject: [ia-bird] Loggerhead Shrike
Today I spotted a Loggerhead Shrike at the junction of 150th Ave. and 470th
St. in Appanoose County today at 3:00 p.m. This is below J5t, a paved road
on the south side of Lake Rathbun. This is the first shrike I have seen
this year. When I first moved here in 1984 I would see one almost daily on
my 5 mile trip to work. Tom Johnson Mystic, Ia.
