- Comments: "(A mallard, a snipe, and a sparrow walk into a bar . . .) Flying together. One landed while the other circled, both calling. The one that landed took a drink. Then it joined the other in flight and headed northwest. Plump shorebirds with long pointy bills and pale buff-colored stripes on backs and faces. Call was a rough squeak."

Semipalmated sandpiper was foraging with two Least Sandpipers providing good comparison of shorter bill, "supercilium", and dark cheek."
