Subject: [NHBirds] both cuckoos
A quiet year for cuckoos in Webster (and beyond) until this week.
On August 4, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo began calling at my house and yesterday a Black-billed Cuckoo called at the same time, perhaps stimulated by the Yb?
Also, I added a Semipalmated Sandpiper to the Jamie Welch Park (Boscawen) list recently, making it seven species of shorebirds there for the year, so far.
