Drove about 5 miles in Villa Creek Road, then to Creek Lagoon. Saw only two vultures, both too high and far to distinguish field marks.
The beach was more interesting, though. The Reddish Egret was foraging in the lagoon; two Killdeer called repeatedly as they scooted around the sand. Four waders were seen: two Marbled Godwits, plus one Whimbrel alongside one Long-billed Curlew—a great opportunity for comparison. I tried to take photos, but they flushed every time I approached.
