Still present and in good view at Devereux Slough at 11:15 a.m. this morning. When I left, it was foraging on the wet mud very near the cormorant roosting logs. For a time, it stopped to preen vigorously and showed the white rump quite well. Bonus sighting: Five Wilson's Phalaropes swimming in the mucky water nearby. Two of the birds were in beautiful plumage. For reasons stated by Wes Fritz and others, please keep the updates coming as there are those not currently present who would still like to see the bird..
