Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Bird & Butterfly Garden
There were a fair number of migrants at the Bird & Butterfly Garden this morning (5/9/25).  The most numerous being Townsends, Yellow, and Orange-crowned Warblers.  Also seen were Hermit, Yellow-rumped and Wilson's Warblers, Western Tanagers, Black-headed Grosbeaks and a Hutton's Vireo.  If you haven't been to the B & B Garden recently, be aware that there is some major habitat restoration and construction going on resulting in large areas of the garden being inaccessible.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
