It was a beautiful morning along the Kaw - still not very birdy however. Its supposed to warm up tomorrow & winds shift to a southerly direction tomorrow night for days with warm temps. Migration through this little spot has been late and slow. Perhaps we will get more activity and perhaps even a fallout if they don't fly over in the next few days.

Eastern Wood Pewee - 1 FOS singing in woods near the start of the river trail

Baltimore Orioles (22) song echoed everywhere - Great-crested Flycatchers and Warbling Vireos were also abundant

I saw very little warbler movement and heard little song
Blackpoll Warbler - 1
Likely Yellow Warbler - heard notes but no song

Swainson's Thrush - 3 just heard whit notes
Red-eyed Vireo - 2
Fish Crow- 1
Summer Tanager - 3 singing at different points along river trail

Still no Cliff Swallow Colony at the mass bride - a few Cliff Swallows were at south end t the park but there has been no action at the nest sights. Saw no swallows over the river north of dam
