5/9. I just learned of two sightings, belatedly:
Tricolored Heron - 5/4 one well-photographed by Mark Grogan, perched on a branch at McKinney NWR “warehouse pond”. Photos o. His Flickr site.
On 5/6, Stefan Martin, Matt Joyce and I saw one (no doubt same bird) fly SSW over Milford Point sandbar.
Black Skimmer - 4/25 - Milan Bull told me he saw one over the Housatonic River, while he was fishing off the tip of Milford (Smith’s) Point.
