https://www.sacramentoaudubon.org/news/sacramento-county-big-day Sacramento Audubon Society hopes you will join our Sacramento County Big Day on May 10, 2025 in support of the larger Global Big Day sponsored by eBird and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Birders all across the world will be heading out on May 10 to record observations from locations around the globe to document as many of the world's bird species as possible in a single day. Here in Sacramento we will be joining the effort and trying to record as many bird species as possible in Sacramento County. All are welcome to participate by submitting your eBird sightings and sharing your checklists from May 10 with the Sacramento Audubon Society eBird account SacCountyBirding or by email at <sacramentoaudubon...> A summary of the effort will be available in the next issue of The Observer.
