Subject: Burcham: Thursday Morning
It was a lovely early morning along the Kaw I listed 41 species. Baltimore Orioles (20+),Warbling Vireos (10), Great-crested Flycatchers (8), & Carolina Wrens (12. were singing all over the park.

More Swains Thrush (9); Red-headed Woodpecker (7), Chipping Sparrow (14) notes today.

Spotted Sandpiper (1)
Bald Eagle (1 adult) - flew by my car as I pulled in the parking lot
Orchard Oriole (1)Summer Tanager (2)
Fish Crow (1)

Most of the few warblers were at the south ends of the park- saw little movement elsewhere
Wilson's Warbler (1 FOS)
Blackpoll Warbler (3)
Prothonotary Warbler (1) singing in same central area of the river trail as yesterday
Yellow-rumped Warbler -(4)
Yellow Warbler (4)
