Good. afternoon. The Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon is pleased to announce its first birding outing in its annual "Feather Fridays" series. We'll be visiting the "Union Village Dam Park" grounds in Thetford Center on Friday, May 16. The event begins at 7:30 am.
Participants should plan to meet in the parking area that is accessed by Buzzell Bridge Road which is located off VT 113 opposite the E.C. Brown's Nursery. Follow it in about a half mile to the parking area which will be on the left just before the park's gated entrance. From there we'll walk along the park's access road looking for newly arriving migrants in the fields and woods along the Ompompanoosuc River.
