Apparently not all birders have heard the message. Frustrating as it is for all of us, the Cleveland National Forest is closed to public entry. The closure went into effect immediately following the massive wildfire - was it last July? It continues throughout the spring season and beyond. This includes one of our favorite birding sites - Maple Springs Rd in lower Silverado Canyon. It and other access roads and trails are closed to all public access - by foot, bike, or motorized vehicle. Please respect the closures.
