Nothing by coast standards but a delightful break in the rain found me at Dahl ( North Conway) with more bird song than I’ve heard in years. This may not be saying much since I’ve been loosing my hearing, but new hearing aids brought even creepers and black and white warblers into hearing range . An incredible technological advance combined with a fabulous wave of birds steadily streaming in until a broad wing came in and the rains returned . Some of the birds even seemed to follow me home, capping the day with a rose breasted grosbeak singing 🎶. (42 species “ sounds” good to me)
