Subject: [CT Birds] Wet weather - bird forecast
5/5. The current weather pattern - persistent east winds with rain/fog - will likely block landbird migration, but could deliver rare shorebirds. In past years, such weather resulted in Red and Red-necked Phalaropes, Black-necked Stilt, Arctic Tern, etc. Check coastal spots as well as inland ponds, lakes, reservoirs, farm ponds.
