Birders
I had a nice collection at Lubberland Creek on Bay Road in Newmarket this morning. The highlight was a golden plover mixed in with the other shorebirds (Least and both Yellowlegs). Also had an Orchard Oriole and a Canada Warbler, but the warbler show was slower than I expected or had in Durham yesterday.
There was a turkey hunter very close to the Sweet Trail down to the bay, which was allowed but annoying, so I avoided that part of the preserve.
