Subject: [NHBirds] New Arrivals Today in Lyme
Walked outside this morning 6:00 am to hear a gray catbirds distinctive "meow." Visually confirmed record in the late afternoon when the bird landed on our suet feeder.
Also, had a first of season confirmed and sighting of a northern house wren.
My home base is not a warbler, etc., conducive habitat. It is maintained pastures and feeder sites, little woodsie warbler habitat. Regardless, it has been a good season for counting visitors. I am beyond 30 species records and still counting for the 2025 campaign.
For all this, we are grateful.
