Subject: [NHBirds] White-crowned Sparrow and migrating jays
My birding on May 2 was "incidental" (an eBird category) but interesting.
Blue Jay- a flock of 40+ migrating/going to roost over Loudon about 6:00 p.m.
White-crowned Sparrow- an adult in the wilds of northeast Canterbury, with a dozen White-throats, was on the early side but that seems the norm for this whacky spring.
