Subject: [NHBirds] Volunteers needed for bird surveys in NH
The Vermont Center for Ecostudies (vtecostudies.org) is recruiting
volunteers for Mountain Birdwatch (mountainbirdwatch.org): a one-day survey
that monitors the health of our mountain forest birds across the Northeast.
If you enjoy birding by ear and want your skills to support conservation
science, we have two vacancies for routes in New Hampshire.

Duties: Hike a high-elevation trail and stop at a few predetermined sites
to listen for 10 bird species + red squirrels.

Time commitment: One (possibly overnight) hike in June

Openings:
*The Sleepers (near Waterville Valley)
*Roble Brook (near Idlewilde)

Resources and support are available on our website and from our scientists.

If you are interested or have questions about the project, please contact:
