Weather:
The day started out at 68 degrees with 20 mph S winds. The sky was overcast
with mixed clouds. The end temp was 80 degrees with a SW wind of 18 mph,
and three levels of cloud coverage.

Raptor Observations:
Migratory flight was slow with birds coming through one or two at a time.
It was a SS hawk day with a count of 12, 5 BW, 9 RT, an eagle and a
peregrine falcon that Jim Landau identified.

Non-raptor Observations:
At the pond was 3 solitary sandpipers, geese, a couple mallards, 1 eastern
kingbird, a Baltimore Oriole, 1 cormorant and a few killdeer. A pair of
sandhill cranes,4 common loons, and 4 blue herons were seen flying over.

Hamburg, NY. It is located on flat lake plain located along the shoreline
of the east end of Lake Erie, about 10 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
