Here in the Williams Valley of Deer Park we have had an incursion of Evening Grosbeaks, about 30 that I estimated yesterday. There may have been even more. This morning they were a couple of fields south of my place. However, yesterday they were in the biggest pine tree right behind my property. I haven't seen this many at one time since I lived in Morton, WA about 55 years ago when they cleaned big leaf maple seed pods off my roof three or four years in a row. Good spring birding to all!
