Subject: [ia-bird] Blue Jays galore - Clarke Co.
Living on the edge of a heavily wooded area, we have our share of local
blue jays, but this morning the tree tops
were filled with them.  I'm guessing 50 or more.   They hung around for
10 minutes or so, raiding our feeders before
moving from treetop to treetop northward.  I'd never seen this many
grouped together and had to look it up
to learn that this was not an unusual migratory pattern.
