I have no idea how you made that, but that's very cool. I'm always opening
eBird and doing a species map search and filtering for 2025. That takes a
while and your site is much quicker. Often when I think I see something
considered rare, I like to check eBird to see if the bird has been reported
in IA lately. For instance, I saw a snowy egret this morning and can see
it's been reported in 3 counties in the last 7 days.
