An early morning walk around Harvey County West Park yielded a number of
arrivals for spring/summer. I had many Red-eyed Vireos, one Warbling
Vireo, a lone Summer Tanager, and more than one House Wren among others.
Spotted Towhees were singing with only about ten days till the late date
for me for that bird in this area. The most common Sparrow was Chipping
Sparrow. Harris's Sparrow held in moderate numbers. A pair of
Orange-crowned Warblers seen along the river from the south bridge afforded
a view of the orange-crown; something I've never seen clearly before. 37
species for a 2 hour walk.

No Orioles till I got home and had my yard's FOS Baltimore Oriole today.
