Subject: [NHBirds] big morning on the Powwow
Nice to see the leatherleaf in a profusion of bloom, turtles on logs, and all of the red maple buds floating on the water. Lots of birds along the edge of Powwow Pond, many are first of year for me, including black and white warblers, yellow-rumped warblers, pine warblers, Palm warblers, 2 sightings of a harrier, common yellowthroats, tree swallows, very vocal flicker(s), cardinals, chickadees, goldfinches, mourning doves, fish crows, hermit thrush, robins, blue jay, red bellied woodpecker, rw blackbird, wood ducks, mallards, junco, wb nuthatches, tufted titmice, bluebirds, song sparrows, ruby-crowned kinglets, and a house wren,
Evy Nathan
