The 23rd Annual Pondicherry Migratory Bird Day is Saturday 10 May 2025. We have two events with the first from 6-8 am at Airport Marsh in Whitefield. Our second event is at 8 am where we bird our way to Cherry and Little Cherry Ponds. We start at the trailhead on 289 Airport Rd in Whitefield for the second event. You can stay as long as you want although we typically finish by 2 pm.
Expert guides will help lead the trip which is free and open to the public. We go rain or shine so dress for the weather and bring water, lunch, and binoculars. Free migratory bird day posters will be available celebrating this year’s theme of “Shared Spaces - Making Communities Bird Friendly.”
