Subject: [ia-bird] New Arrivals
Had a Summer Tanager visit this morning. Not sure how in all the years that
this is the very first Tanager that I have ever seen. What a bird! Also had
a Northern Mockingbird appear and several Yellow Rumped Warblers. The house
wrens are back and also two Barn Swallows though it seems a bit early for
them. There are still several White Crowned Sparrows working the seed on
the ground and wonder how much longer they will be here.
