Hi Chuck,
I did take note that I saw my first RTHU, a male, on APR 20, around some tulips in my neighbor's yard. I have yet to see one at my feeder, and I haven't seen another one otherwise either. This is in Manhattan on Elling Drive.
An FOS for me today (Apr 22) was a singing Baltimore Oriole.

Subject: First of season Hummingbird reports
This email originated from outside of K-State.
Good day one and all!
I am diligently working on refining a map I made of expected Ruby-throated
Hummingbird return dates (let me know if you'd like a copy of that map). I am
asking for folks to email me when you saw your first Ruby-throated
Hummingbird at your feeders this year. If you report on eBird, I'll pick that up
from there so no need to respond. If not, please just drop me a short email
(<cotte...>). So far I have dates from the following counties:
Cherokee
Crawford
Douglas
Ellsworth
Geary
Johnson
Labette
Leavenworth
Lincoln
Linn
Lyon
Miami
Pottawatomie
Pratt
Reno
Riley
Shawnee
Wyandotte
Again - if you report on eBird, I will grab that information from their website. If
you don't, and your county is not listed above, please let me know!!!
