Subject: [ia-bird] Not a bird sighting
For those of you interested in other wildlife...I was at Bjorkboda Marsh tonight looking for the Virginia Rail; no luck, though I did have 9 Soras.Toward the west end of the marsh, there's a Canada Goose incubating on a nest very close to the road. Nudged up on top of the nest right behind the sitting goose was a very large Blanding's Turtle. My first really good look at one. Good to see.
