This evening I watched a raven eat 6 to 8 mushrooms behind my house in Monroe. They were growing on a broken swamp maple branch caught on other branches. If it was too big to swallow it found a place to set it down and peck away at the fungi till it was gone. Never seen that before. Ed Bailey Monroe
