Hello, In between UCI and Quail Hill (closer to UCI and possible over Mason Park) a few minutes ago were three Buteos. I had a quick look through my binoculars, and they might have been three Swainson’s Hawks. The plumage on the underside and underwing fit as did the Osprey looking wing position when gliding. One went towards location of San Joaquin Wetlands. The other two are out of sight. Anyone else around to confirm this or provide insight? -- Aaron Jones, Santa Ana.
