The migration last night did not seem to bring too many passerines, or at least they did not find their way in front of my optics this morning. But I did see my first of season Upland Sandpiper, American Avocet, Forster's Tern, and Western Willet in the Manhattan area this morning. North winds today may keep them around. I'd be really happy for a south wind followed by a calm sunny day, personally!
cheers

This email originated from outside of K-State.
No orioles or hummingbirds to report, yet, but we did have a
Chuck-will's-widow calling here at the farm (rural Milford) last night and first
of season Northern House Wren calling this morning! Both are just about
right on schedule!
