All,
I've received multiple emails from multiple local birders asking me to say something about this. A list was submitted to eBird a couple days ago from the Harding Canyon/Truck Trail in the Cleveland National Forest behind Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary. Following the Airport Fire, this area is *closed to the public* for rehabilitation and damage assessment until at least September 2025, assuming we still have a federal government left by then to open it up again. I've been told that the signage stating as such is obvious. Please do not trespass into this or any other areas that have been closed following the fires last fall. There are plenty of other places to go birding in Orange County in the meantime!
