Hi Birders, The Tricolored Blackbird Statewide Survey occurs this year during a three day period (April 18-20). I am the Santa Clara County Coordinator and I am asking everyone to be vigilant for Tricolored sightings. If you observe Trikes anywhere in the County from April 18-20 can you please send me a private email (<norcalbirding...> or <ryan.phillips...>) with your observation (location, date, time, number of individuals). This is an important effort every 3 years that helps us understand the Trike population and status to focus conservation efforts.
