Hi Everyone!
Today, I did a couple of short bird outings. The first was at Heintz Open Space (37.233044489128396, -121.9271865628507). I was hoping for a MacGilvary's Warbler but I think it's too early. I could hear lots of *Orange-crowned Warblers* and one *Wilson's Warbler* but not much else warbler wise. I did see two different *White-throated Sparrows *and several *Purple Finch* were singing. This was along the flat portion of the Vista Trail.
I also made a quick stop at the Calero Creek Trail starting at Harry Rd. I spotted the *Lawrence's** Goldfinch* (I think there might have been two) that Janna reported earlier. There was also a pair of *Wood Ducks* in the creek and two *Lark Sparrows *were on the trail. Lots of *Warbling Vireos* were singing and I heard my FOS *Ash-throated Flycatcher and Western Flycatcher.*
