Subject: [NHBirds] Deer Hill




Went to Deer Hill yesterday and had 27 species:

In the last pond was a Pied-billed Grebe. About 20ft behind it was a beaver hut with plenty of surface splashing next to the hut. I assumed it was a beaver. My bino's proved me wrong. It was an otter catching and eating fish. Took some pictures, and if your interested, click on the below link. Also, at the far end of the pond next to the shore line was a wood duck (a literal wood duck). I'll include that photo also.
