Lots of nice birds along the Calero Creek trail this morning. I birded from Harry Rd. to the orchard at 8:30 and had the following birds.
Western Flycatcher perched perched at Harry bridge photo Swainson's Thrush; 2 gave "whit" call from creek bed at start of trail Lawrence's Goldfinch male in orchard photo Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 2 in oaks 1 in orchard Yellow-rumped Warblers 5+ singing House Wren 3, one at start of trail Warbling Vireo 2 seen 3 others heard Wilson's Warbler heard over creek mid span Cooper Hawk pair at nest Harry Woodpecker male Downy, Nuttall's Woodpecker 2 each heard only Ash throated Flycatcher heard in orchard Western Kingbird 2 heard in orchard Other birds of interest; Wrentit, Cal. Quail, swallows.
