Subject: [NHBirds] Bonaparte's gulls, Newmarket
Birders
I spent a chunk of time birding Lubberland Creek on Bay Road in Newmarket this morning. The highlight was a flock of 41 Bonaparte's gulls loafing on the mud flats, presumably en route to Waterloo, New York, or perhaps to conquer Egypt. It appears to be a new species for the hotspot.

Also on the bay side were many GW teal, a handful of Greater Scaup, and a lone Greater Yellowlegs. There were no ducks at all on the freshwater side, which I found pretty surprising.
