Anyone interested in the $149 group rate for duct/dryer cleaning?
Michael will be cleaning our air vents and dryer vents soon. He recently
did an excellent job at a nearby property—very thorough, punctual, and
professional. If you have allergies, notice extra dust, or haven’t cleaned
your vents in over a year, it’s probably time. He quoted $400, but with 3–4
houses it’s $149 for a single AC unit home, If interested, please send me
your availability, home address, and phone number via email, or text me at
240-202-8145 and don't forget to mention Michael's name. I’ll add you to
the list.
If you’d like to be added to the list, please share your availability and
contact number.

Hello, It appears that a Spam element has snuck into KBBN. I will be deleting any messages that have subjects that are not about Klamath Basin Birds. And, in particular, any messages that are attempting to sell items. The email addresses for those messages will be banned and messages from those sources will be barred from posting. If you see a message that appears to be marketing items, please alert me. I will be clearing this matter up, and hopefully subscribers will not be subjected to emails that they did not sign up for. Date: 4/8/26 6:30 am From: <rriparia...> Subject: [KlamathBasinBirdNews] Neotropic Cormorant in LKNWR area
Hello all, A bit busy, and have added some new members interested in Klamath Basin bird news. Sorry about the delay. A Neotropic Cormorant is still in the area of the Lower Klamath NWR, in the Straits Drain Area on the Oregon side, and reported recently from the original reported site on some sticks in the water along the large willow row on the California side. Check this species out to see the differences it has from the regular Double-crested Cormorant. Shorebirds: a good location is at the 90 degree turn and pull out at Miller Island Road in the Miller Island unit of the Klamath WMA south of Klamath Falls. Scan from that overlook spot. Township Road has some permanent pastures that are being irrigated, especially on the eastern end which may attract shorebirds. Water on the California side at Lower Klamath NWR still has an abundance of waterfowl, including Greater White-fronted Geese. They will be slowly leaving the Klamath Basin over the next month. Hi Mary,
Looks good for a male American Wigeon.
The sunlight is hitting the head stripe and giving an iridescent look.
Here’s a similar photo from the Ducks Unlimited phone app.
